RR15 Rough surface ring with 2 rubies is cast from 18kt yellow gold. Total weight of both Thai rubies is 1.1ct. These rubies have been heat treated. The ring is 11 mm wide (about 1/2 inch). The band is made in wax but this requires several attempts. A lost wax casting is made, and the resulting casting is filed and polished. The rubies are then selected and settings made. More adjustments are made to the ring, and the rubies are set. The ring in the picture is $5739 Variations using other metals and stones are possible. Please inquire. |
